Mat and Reformer Pilates

  • Run by Health & Fitness Professionals

All of our classes are run by experienced health and fitness professionals who have then added pilates training on top of extensive experience.

Both mat and reformer Pilates are great options for low impact exercise. Suitable for beginners and experiencers movers alike and our class sizes are kept small to ensure that your technique can be monitored throughout the session.

  • Gentle Mat & Reformer Options

While beginners are welcome in any of our sessions, we have specific classes that are a little bit more beginner friendly if you’re concerned. Also a wonderful option for any of our more mature movers.

Our gentle classes are bit kinder on the knees, a bit slower overall and are perfect either for those just starting out, those with a few niggles and those over the age of 50.

  • Child Friendly Classes

As much as we love our little besties, it’s hard sometimes. We have classes through the week that are specifically for those of you with a little human (or two) in tow.

Classes are designed to be safe both for those who are pregnant and postpartum. We would recommend that any of our soon to be Mums that are more than 20 weeks attend our child friendly classes.

  • Clinical Exercise Sessions

Sometimes we need a little bit more individualisation. While our mat and reformer classes are fantastic, if you have any specific issues that you’re trying to address or significant pain you may be best joining our Clinical Exercise sessions.

In these sessions, you are required to do an assessment plus 1-2 individual sessions with one of our Physiotherapists before joining our small group sessions (max 3 people) where you’ll be guided by a Physiotherapist through you own program.

  • Just yourself! Please wear comfortable clothes that you can move around in. For our reformer classes we ask that you bring socks to wear during the session (we have a brilliant selection of grip socks available for purchase if you need though!).

If you are coming to a mat class and you have your own yoga mat, please feel free to bring it. Otherwise we have PLENTY available to borrow.

  • For some of our classes, yes you can. Amy and Kasey are both Physiotherapists and as such, classes can be claimed via private health insurance under Physiotherapy extras. You will need to contact reception to book however on 0435 952 853.

  • Unless you’re coming to a Clinical Exercise session there is no need to see a Physiotherapist or anyone before jumping into a class. Go ahead and book yourself in.

If you aren’t sure which classes are right for you though, we offer a free 30 minute sessions with Cass, our Personal Trainer/Movement Coach who can chat to you about your current fitness, goals and preferences to help you work out which classes will suit you best. You can book that session here.
